Weekly on the ARES/SKYWARN information and training net [W3GV 146.61 (-) and 146.82(-) and the WA3UC Repeater 146.70(-) Sunday @ 9pm], volunteer SKYWARN personel report their snowfall for the week to the net control station. This information is used by the National Weather Service (Cleveland office) to study the patterns of snowfall around Lake Erie. The numbers on the map below correspond to a SKYWARN spotter's location in Erie County, with his data listed below. The data includes amount of snowfall currently on the ground (as of Sunday evening), as well as weekly and season totals, and the snow at week time last year. It is compiled by the spotters from their twice-daily reports to the Cleveland Weather Service Forecast Office.
